Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs
The
GEAR
UP program is a federally funded program (U.S.D.E) designed to increase the
number of low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary
education.
APEX GEAR UP is unique from other initiatives. This program supports academic achievement of students attending 3rd to 9th grades who are residents of the KCK Public Housing Complexes.
